HRV

The HRV Report is based on a mathematical analysis of the R-R intervals of the ECG. This report evaluates the functional condition of the cardiovascular system as well as the autonomic nervous system. The report includes information about:

  • Stress level of regulatory mechanisms
  • Functional reserves
  • Adaptation capacity
  • Rhythm’s wave structure
  • Balance of interaction between the sympathetic and parasympathetic portions of the autonomic nervous system

Analysis of the heart rhythm is conducted using scattergrams, histograms, and spectral analysis of the fast and slow waves regulating the heart rhythm.

Science

Heart rate variability (HRV) testing is used in Omegawave as a method to identify the functional state of the cardiac system.
